Last week was one of the worst weeks I have had. Mostly because all of the stress of finishing our Interactive Video (see our website) and organising the exhibition.
However, in the end, my video was complemented on by our teacher, and the exhibition was complemented on by the director of our study, so in the end, all was well. One thing just got worse though, my health. However, spending days in bed does give me time to catch up on the homework that slipped by in the past weeks when I was focussing on the video and the exhibition. Though I probably need another week or so to catch up with everything.
Wish me luck, I will post some photo's of the exhibition soon.

Programming Processing
Yay! I have something to write about!
Today in the train, I was bored, so I started in my Processing book, and look what I made:

Reviews
Well, today I read what people posted about me in their reviews, and most of them said that I should post on my blog more regularly. So that is what I plan to do!
The preparations for the final assignment for Introduction to Computer Science are well underway (even though I don't really understand what it all has to do with computer science) and I am enjoying working with another group. It's refreshing!
Furthermore I finally found the guts to go to a trainings session of the swimming group of Piranha on Monday, and since today I am a proud member of ZPV Piranha! This will mean a lot more aching muscles and beer though....

The last few weeks have been a mess of teachers I don't understand, assignments I have difficulty with and a lot of personal emotional stress.
What I do know, is that my project for We Create Identity is fun.. however the getting organised/started part is still difficult. In Delft I knew who I could count on, who would do something and who needed some encouragement. Here I feel lost, I am unsure of what I can rely on in my group and how far I can go in taking the lead. I have always been told that I am a rather bossy control freak, but now, when I'm trying not to take the lead, nothing is being done.
Our idea is very cool though:

Twee weken
After two weeks of a new study, one must think that you might start to get used to what you are doing, and who you're doing it with. Not me.
Finaly we did however get a project, to make an interactive video, which is very vague on it's own. But what is even vaguer is that, now we have gotten it, we don't seem to work on/with it in class! No, we have got to do the smaller assignments exactly as the teacher asks, even if the storyline or whatever you have chosen does not fit, then you just have to make something up to make it fit. Okey, I know that theory is important, and that some things must just be practised, but why not combine the practising with the project, at least you are then doing something useful...
However my whining, my group does have a good idea, which is challenging and probably going to be a pain to realise, but it is interesting! The idea is based around the life of a person who grew up in a bad neighbourhood, the movie wil start with a short impression of his childhood, but the movie itself will focus on his adulthood and the choices he makes in life. These choices can either be good, neutral or evil, depending on your input. I'm really looking forward to making it, but it is going to be a hell of a job..

Assignment
The second assignment I recieved yesterday was to prepare a special photo for our class today..
What is a special photo?
Well, a special photo could be a photo of my friends, as they are very important people in my life, or it could be a photo of something beautiful, or something that represents me.
One of the most beautiful pictures I have ever taken was this one:
It was made in Bulgaria, when my friends and I stumbled apon a litter of kittens, we were there on an exchange programme.
